Phone Interview Advice

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Jan 25, 2012 2:04 pm

2L, top 15% at a T30, stuck out OCI, its almost February, I'm desperate.

I have a phone interview tomorrow with two associates at a dream firm, a small litigation boutique so incredible I'd choose it over Cravath in a heartbeat. How do I kill it? It is my last best hope at getting paid this summer, or finding a solid private sector job post graduation.

Talk and act as if you are in the room with the interviewers rather than on the phone; smile, etc. Also stand rather than sit because that makes your voice sound better somehow.
