When Should I Contact my Firm about Start Date?

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Jan 19, 2012 11:20 am

Got hired to a local, non-NALP firm through OCI back in October. A lot of my friends have heard from their firms about start dates, program lengths, etc, but I haven't heard anything. I'd like to know when to tell my current job I'll be leaving sooner rather than later so they have plenty of time to find a replacement for me. Is it okay to reach out to my firm to ask about this summer, or should I wait a little longer?
