Are you kidding, you should be stoked! Congratulations! Would you mind if I asked what week interviews are? I want to know when I should start moving on. Kick ass and take names at your third round :P

Thank you - it's my dream job :) I've put in SEVERAL years of working as an unpaid intern for different prosecutorial agencies so I feel I really deserve it.

My interview is scheduled for the second week of June. Best of luck to you!!

PS - The FAQ mentioned that they "anticipate" the next DDA Exam will be Fall 2015.

Good lord, I wish they wouldn't put in the "better luck in 2 years" thing in the email. I'm sure you've completely earned your slot! A friend of mind did get hired off the list in the year between open classes so I know that happens. Be sure to let us know if you make it!

Did you get a specific date or did they ask you to call in to schedule an interview date?

I heard that about a 100 people made it to the live scan. So does that mean that everyone who was live scanned will be interviewed?

Do you think they sent out all the interview emails today or do you think they are still sending them out?

From what source did you hear that 100 were Live Scanned?

Were your reference people contacted yet, to your knowledge?

I rec'd my email around 6pm tonight. I was given a time, date, and place for my interview - I just have to call and confirm.

***None of my references have been contacted. I did work for the office and my letters of recommendation were LADA employees - maybe that's why??

To the poster that stated 100 people were live scanned - where did you hear that? The FAQ attached to my email with my interview date stated that 100 people were selected for a third round.

An applicant in the live scan room told me his interviewer told him that they were only sending 100 people down to the live scan room.

Do you think all the emails went out today or do you think they are still in the process of sending out emails?

Anonymous User wrote:Just got an email with my scheduled 3rd round interview date!! Anyone else? It came with a FAQ attachment.. I'll be happy to outline that at a later time for others. For now - they are interviewing around 100 people, offers will be made mid July, class of 20-25 starts in August.

I hope I don't discourage anyone with this announcement.. there is a good chance it will take a while to schedule the interviews. They are likely interviewing each person selected individually.

That's great news! Congrats! I hope I hear good news too! It's good to know that there is finally some progress.

Best of luck to you!

When did you have your second round interview? I'm wondering if they stuck to that or if towards the end of the interviews they went over that number. It seems odd that it would take this long to set up interviews if all those who were Livescanned were going on to the second round, and with only one exception I've seen on this forum, they haven't done reference checks yet. They probably did run criminal histories and I know they ran my credit check. Would it take six weeks to do that?

I'm not sure why I wouldn't get a third interview. I have experience. I scored really well on my first interview and I did well on my second.

Don't worry, a lot of us are in the same boat. I have over a year of actual DA experience, had letters of rec from current LADA employees, and interned at LADA for about a year. And nothing

Surely the logistics of scheduling 100 interviews could mean that the emails are trickling out as opposed to being sent all on the same day. Don't lose hope. I haven't yet.

True. Maybe they have to wait for confirmations before they schedule the next batch.

I just want to know. I will be upset, but at least I will be able to move on. I feel like I've been putting my life on hold waiting around for LA.
