Small, mid firms

Do you just mass mail small/medium sized firms? Or do you respond to symplicity postings?

Both. A lot of smaller firms don't even have formal summer associate/intern programs so it's best to just contact them and see what happens.

+1. It's how I got my summer job. Some random firm that I emailed and asked if they hired SA's.
