If you want to do union-side work they've got a great reputation, and they're one of the very few firms where you can make a decent living doing so.

I did some research on them and it seemed really well respected in their field and cool that they work with unions.

very elite. i think they take like one person from each top school (T6) each year. need amazing stats.

they do recruit a 2L class but apparently with the expectation you will clerk, not go to the firm, after 3L. Not sure if those folks have a spot post-clerkship but they are probably in a good position anyway.

They do have a spot to return. I have several friends who have gone there in past summers/will go there this summer. There isn't an explicit "clerk to get an offer" expectation, but there's definitely an encouragement to do so.

I'd also note that almost 1/7 of the firm clerked for Berzon herself.
