Hey TLS Folks,
When I graduated from college a couple years ago, one of my professors, who I worked with for several years and published with, wrote me a knock-out professional letter of recommendation (i.e. for jobs, not law school).
Any strong feelings that I should not include this in my application package for 1L spots?
Cons:
Maybe it's weird, untraditional, or unprofessional.
Not a law professor.
Pros:
It's pretty dang good, and I'm willing to swing for the fences to get a job that is a long shot anyway.
Talks about my legal research and publication in a major law review.
It's my best option for a letter of recommendation.
Thanks!

You don't need a LOR for job apps.

Yeah this for the most part. If you did need a LOR for whatever reason, I don't see how it'd hurt. It's almost impossible to have already established a good relationship with a prof as a 1L.DallasCowboy wrote:You don't need a LOR for job apps.
