Bar Applications

When are you (did you) planning on starting the bar application process? I've heard it can take some time to gather all the required documents.

I already started. Getting my fingerprints done in an hour.

My app. was pretty easy because a lot of the questions did not apply to me. It took me an hour to fill out.

I'd say the most annoying part was figuring out past residential addresses and first and last names of old bosses.

Not sure what state you all are discussing, but at least for NY it looks like nothing has to be done (or even can be done) until 4/1/12 (or 11/1/11 for the February exam). http://www.nybarexam.org/faq/faq.htm#Deadlines

Yeah it depends on the state, but start early. As a 3L, you don't want to be scurrying to collect all the information while studying for finals, and finishing a paper, and juggling out-of-town guests who came for your graduation. The sooner, the better.

Whoops, thought this topic was referring to C&F. Ignore my post.
