Does anyone know for sure what the residency requirement is for ADAs? I think I remember at my screener, the interviewer said that you must reside anywhere within Philadelphia, but I don't know if I am remembering accurately. I'm curious if ADAs can reside outside of the Philadelphia city limits (but still in PA).

Anonymous User wrote:The ADA I was referring to in my prior post is a member of the hiring committee and is a friend of mine. I don't know if the budget was or was not approved. I do know that they are extending more offers this year and their fiscal position is much better than last year. For this reason that is why all the new hires will start in August. Last year because of budget problems, new hires did not start until November. You can chose to believe this information or not, I know more than 25 offers will go out.
Really? I was told during my interview in October that we would be starting in November. If the August start date is correct, I'm more excited about hearing the good news. I don't think I could sit on my hands and wait three months to start working after finishing the bar exam.

Hmm. There seems to be confusion. My interviewer said new hires would start in august and so does the website, but that was a first round interview in August. So maybe things have changed. I thought there was some kind of training period.

The bigger issue: Do you think we will hear this week? Has anyone else called?

I am sorry to hear that thanks for posting. So does that mean that calls went out last week and most of us are waiting for a rejection letter?

They may be trying to time the letters and the calls at the same time to keep speculation at a minimum.
