+1

Has gk really, really not made any offers?!
I suppose the entire TLS population interested in GK could be in the reject pile...
for our sake lets hope not. no one at schools like WIS/ Marquette/ etc have friends with offers?
if no offers are out, I guess that is good good news for us, just frustrating...

I really wouldn't worry about not hearing from gk until you hear that someone else has gotten an offer, and a several hours have passed. I'm not at UW or Marquette, but I would bet they take at least one person from each of those schools. Also I'd appreciate it if you post your updates because TLS is my only source of news for what's happening in MKE.

I don't know the details. I just know they have some offers out, from good authority.

Of course, it is possible that some of those offers came "early," as some students were certainly able to speed the firm up because the candidates had other offers.

I don't have a vested interest in GK but just wanted to give some advice that there is nothing wrong with sending a follow-up email or phone call to check on your status, especially if is it past the time frame they gave you.

Thanks. Did that last week though and was told they'd be making decisions shortly.. I guess haven't been dinged so will try to remain optimistic. Good luck to everyone and let's hope offers are still being made. Really wanted MKE, strong, strong ties. T14

Warning, opinions follow:

If you have nothing yet, do not count on getting any of the bigger named firms in Milwaukee. Start scrambling.

To the person asking about rejections, I received a post cb rejection from Quarles. It was ~1 week after cb.

I declined an offer from Reinhart in the last week. So, there is a good chance that others may still decline & open up more spots, but these will likely be very limited.

Spoke with recruiter at one of the firms in Milwaukee who said before the crash they would have to have 20-25 offers to fill 7 spots. Now, to fill 7 spots they need only make 8-9 offers. Times have changed...Good luck everyone.

Yea I kinda figured the same. Just without denials from GK and a couple other firms don't wanna give up all hope. I know some people heard from gk but did those waiting to hear back last week hear anything? I'd much rather be dinged then sitting, waiting, knowing it's coming..

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
