I've heard of CBs at all the big firms. I know Foley and G&K have given out some offers, but I'm not sure about Reinhart/Whyte.

Reinhart has made at least some rejections decisions. Can get an answer over the phone, or wait for letters to go out Monday. T14, lived in Mke for several years & really wanted to come back.

Whyte has given out offers, as well as Quarles.

Most Milwaukee firms are near the end of CBs

Anyone else know of/have a G&K offer or waiting to hear back after the CB?

I know several people waiting to hear back from CBs. No offers I'm aware of.

I know of at least 1 G&K offer, but I think they were going to do all the CBs (and there were a ton of them) then do offers after that. I would expect offers to come out in this upcoming week, but that's all conjecture.

I think you may be right. Let's keep each other updated on these G&K offers (and possibly list school and/or grade range)

Sorry, but I withdrew. Great firm, though. I really enjoyed my CB and would have taken it over many of the "Vault-ranked" firms.

So, since we're on TLS, what's the perceived hierarchy of prestige in Milwaukee?

Foley is the only firm in Milwaukee that matters

I don't know if I'd say that...although maybe that is the perception if you are not already located in Milwaukee.

I would say prestige goes Foley > Quarles > Godfrey > Reinhart > WHD

Do any of you with cb/offers or know of people with them mind sharing school/gpa/ties/ect stats?

I'd be a great help. Thanks!

The G&K wait is killing me. Anyone hear anything?

My sense of talking with counsel in Wisconsin is that this is true, but I think Quarles is definitely falling back to the Reinhart/Godfrey pack. There's only so long you can hire 0-1 2Ls before it catches on that you're not doing so hot. I feel bad for the mid-levels who have been doing lower level work because there are no lower level associates to give the work to.

I don't believe your facts are accurate. Quarles only suspended their program for one summer. For 2011 they hired 4 2L's in Milwaukee, and I believe they have a similar number of 2L's for their 2012 program.

Bump to get this on the radar for this cycle. I'm from a school that doesn't do much in MKE, so I'm hoping some others can give me some frame of reference for CBs/dings/offers

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
