Any idea of when US DOT extended offers last time around? The website states by "early December." But you never know!Anonymous User wrote:I didn't get a reference request either.Anonymous User wrote:Any update on US DOT, anyone?
I left a list of references with the three attorneys I've interviewed with, so perhaps (hopefully) this is why I did not get the reference request email...
Fingers crossed. My largest (and last) gvt. position hope.

At my interview, the Honors Attorney I spoke with said she knew by Thanksgiving last year.

I believe NRC Honors has made at least one offer. This is for OGC, not the ASLBP clerkships.

Wouldn't be surprised if the number hovered around the low double digits in this economy, =/.

Offers will likely happen this week, more or less. As another poster mentioned (and confirmed), most honors last years got offers before Turkey day.

Haven't heard anything from EPA Region 9. Has anyone heard from DOE, HUD, or USACE?

Re: 2012 3L Gov Honors Programs
I'm not sure I'd put too much faith in hearing anything before thanksgiving. Pretty much every agency I interviewed at has said they need to fight for additional money before they can hire anyone this year. I'm sure that could take a while....and it could mean the positions might not end up existing. Fun!

Does anyone know what the salary is for a USACE Honors Attorney starting off?

Re: 2012 3L Gov Honors Programs
US DOT during interviews said that they had already allocated funds for 9 spots - might be that the selection process may take longer this year for a number of reasons, but I doubt anything is funding (or position availability) related.

Has USACE contacted people about second-round interviews? I do not know what their starting salary is for Honors attorneys.

Does Treasury (outside of OCC and IRS) have a direct hire program for graduates? I heard OFAC might, but what about FMS, Mint, Debt, etc?

I had a first round USACE during OCI at my school. I have heard nothing since then.

Re: 2012 3L Gov Honors Programs
I applied from a clerkship, so I had one interview, which they told me was my final interview. They said I'd hear by late November/early December. I don't know how it works if you interviewed at OCI or a career fair (which I'm assuming is your question).Anonymous User wrote:Are these first rounds or second?
