Thanks for the reply. It's funny that some of these agencies would be so slow when they must know they are directly competing against other similar agencies that are farther along in the hiring process.
Yes, but the entire pool for federal financial service jobs is 3 at FDIC, maybe 5 at CFPB, 7-10 at OCC and another handful at FRB. They can easily find 20 top-flight people in the pol of 2,100 to staff those few openings.

Any update on US DOT, anyone?

I left a list of references with the three attorneys I've interviewed with, so perhaps (hopefully) this is why I did not get the reference request email...

Fingers crossed. My largest (and last) gvt. position hope.
