Re: DOJ Honors
Have heard through the grapevine that some offers have already been made. They weren't EOIR (at least the one(s) I'm aware of).

Re: DOJ Honors
Any new "finalist or reference updates" since last week? Is antitrust still the only branch to name finalists? ANYTHING from EOIR?

Re: DOJ Honors
Grapevine guy: Did the Crim finalists see updates last week, or did this happen today? Any new updates TODAY?
I wonder if all finalists have already been notified, but it doesn't make much sense that the Avue lady would post that update last week saying components have until Nov 16th if all the components had already listed their finalists.

Re: DOJ Honors
BAHHHH Are there just not enough people to get accurate data points or are their still finalist selections to be made? I wonder if all finalists were notified last Wednesday, but like I said earlier, I'm not sure why that avue lady posted on Tuesday that components have until the 16th to decide (if she knew she'd be releasing all the finalist updates on Wed).

Christ, get a hold of yourself. No, do NOT call ARCs. Each component does its own thing, on its own time. The fact that one has chosen finalists means nothing about the others. Wait it out.Anonymous User wrote:BAHHHH Are there just not enough people to get accurate data points or are their still finalist selections to be made? Worth it to start calling ARCs?

Re: DOJ Honors
Has anyone had a reference called post-interview? There were reports of reference calls pre-interviews, so maybe that's all the calling they're doing.

Re: DOJ Honors
Thanks! So I'm assuming you got an offer call as well? Congrats.
It looks like reference checks are made right before offer calls, then.

Re: DOJ Honors
I've heard DOJ cares about clerkships for going into the honors program. Do they consider PMFs at all equivalent to clerkships or a negative because PMF tends to be non-legal?
