Alameda DA - Summer 2011

Anyone who interviewed with Alameda DA hear anything back or receive any kind of positive news during the initial interview?
I interviewed with these clowns last year. Not only did they not give me a callback, they didn't even have the courtesy to send me a ding. I was basically vaporized from their world.
Did you interview with a cop and two DA's? Was the cop tubby? Those bums didn't give me any positive signs. In one sense, they said I really should do something more meaningful with my life than try and put perps behind bars. To be fair, they're looking for street-smart people. And they're looking for locals.
People can trash big law all they want. But remember - big law will (most often) send you a thin envelope with closure. You may trash the envelope without ever opening it - but you'll at least be able to move forward. Alameda DA doesn't have the money for stationary.
