Do I need to bring reference lists to interviews with V5 firms?
What is considered an acceptable charge for dinner? Can I expense taxi trips to and from dinner when I am in NYC visiting?

Reference Lists: Probably not necessary unless they ask for it, but it never hurts just to have one.Anonymous User wrote:Do I need to bring reference lists to interviews with V5 firms?

Expenses: Aim for $20-35 for dinner (and no more than $50). As for the taxis, I think the standard is that they'll pay for any ground transportation to/from the airport (in both cities) and to/from the firm. I wouldn't try to expense other things, unless the firm tells you they'll pay for it. On that note, for most expense questions, just call and Ask a Recruiter, they'll be able to tell you quickly and easily what you can and cannot expense.

To be more specific about my first question, for those who have had callback interviews with top NYC firms, do they typically ask for it?

Last year, ~15 NYC/DC callbacks, never was asked for a list of references. Hope this better answers your question.Anonymous User wrote:To be more specific about my first question, for those who have had callback interviews with top NYC firms, do they typically ask for it?
