Callback rejection?

Callback rejection?

If a firm tells you that they'll get back to you by a certain date, but you don't hear back by then, is it safe to assume that it's more than likely a rejection?

No. They just got behind or neglected it. It means nothing.

I posted above about a particular firm, and assumed you meant after the callback.
