Two callbacks with different offices of the same firm?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Aug 24, 2011 3:18 pm

Quick question about this. I have two callbacks scheduled for two offices of the same firm. One office is in Chicago, the other office is in NY.

Do hiring committees generally operate independently of each other, or will my performance at one callback potentially influence the other callback? This is for a biglaw firm (V50)

It may depend on the firm. Generally they don't mind, but you may want to call the recruiter at one of the offices and let them know what's going on. In my experience, Weil does not care if you do callbacks at two different offices even if you get an offer from one and not from another. But just call and make sure.
