I would say so...but given my luck with CBs so far I'm guessing my sense of what that means is wrong

From all reports, top 10% people at Rutgers are doing much better in Philly/OCI in general this year than the year before (including some w/out LR).

Dude, that stinks. Did you go to undergrad in Philly? Maybe you can call the firm and asks for an honest evaluation.

When did you do your Duane Morris CB? Stats?Anonymous User wrote:Update on Philly prospects/interviews/etc:

Also to anyone else who has gotten a ding from Duane Morris following a CB, when did you do your CB?
Thanks, I've been waiting since August and am just trying to figure out where I stand.

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
CCN transfer, was top 10% at T25. I did my Duane Morris CB in mid-August and got a rejection about 2-3 weeks later. Likely because I don't have significant Philly ties (thinking this is the same reason Ballard said no).Anonymous User wrote:When did you do your Duane Morris CB? Similar story regarding DM CB --> rejection. Mid-August; MVP transfer; Philly ties through old school.Anonymous User wrote:CCN transfer, was top 10% at T25. Has anyone from OCI received rejections from: Skadden (DE), Archer & Greiner, Blank Rome or Stradley Ronon? Total radio silence and its going on 3 weeks for some of these spots.

Yeah I'm also curious about this. Have a CB later this week, wondering what the situation might be when I walk in. Sorry for hijacking the thread!Anonymous User wrote:Re: Skadden, as far as i know, no decision was to come out until early this week. It's cool, nobody cares enough about Delaware to give it its own thread.Anonymous User wrote:Yeah I'm also curious about this. Dear Duane Morris: email dings are just as effective. I am tired of waiting for an answer.

The radio silence is by far the worst part of this process. Being in limbo means I don't know if I should stay positive or just assume the worst. Blank Rome was seriously a month ago today. One. Month.Anonymous User wrote:I received a rejection from Blank Rome by snail mail. How long have you been waiting? It will be 6 weeks for me on Thursday, which can't be good.Anonymous User wrote:Dear Duane Morris: email dings are just as effective. I am tired of waiting for an answer.

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
Are any of the big firms still scheduling a decent amount of callbacks, or are things pretty much done? (I was going to call the firms I mass-mailed that haven't said no and ask for an interview, so I'm wondering which ones to focus on.)

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
I wouldnt be so quick to think that your wait is indicative of a pending ding. I was dinged quite swiftly after my callback (like two days), so you may be in some sort of hold list....which is better than outright rejection. Keep the faith.Anonymous User wrote:How long have you been waiting? If you don't get a call the Friday after your interview from DM, you can assume it's a ding...

Pepper rejection from my callback today in the mail. Also dings from Skadden and Archer Greiner. Fuck my life, seriously.

Any Dechert offers/post-callback dings? Wondering how long after my callback to expect an answer?
