So I had an interview today with a large NY firm that was ranked fairly highly on my bid list (who it is doesn't really matter). It was sandwiched between two interviews (one that ran late and then the candidate scheduled after me came early, plus I had another interview scheduled right after). I feel like the interviewer and I made some connections on some important things that I wanted to ask legitimate questions about, but I felt pressured with someone else at the door and another interviewer waiting on me.
Of course I got the "let me know if you have any other questions" statement on my way out the door, but my question is -- should I take the time to write this interviewer about the questions I actually have? Or should I just leave it alone and call it a day?

If it was just a screener, you could probably just ask the questions during the callback interview.

I think you should follow up with a thank you and then your additional questions. It will show that you're actually interested and maybe confirm the connection you made with the employer. Beyond that, it shows initiative. Of course, this is just my $.02

OP here - and thanks for the advice -- it wouldn't quite be a true TLS thread if I didn't get three different answers from three different people
I think I may just bite the bullet and go with the e-mail. I can't ask the questions at the callback if I don't get one in the first place, and I would feel awful bothering the interviewer during a work day. At least an e-mail is not AS intrusive on his/her time?

I think email is solid. He's probably checking for emails from students right now, so you're likely to get a response. On other hand, if he's an old-timer, he might prefer phone call. Generally, contacting him isn't the end of the world and he isn't going to tell anybody on you, so I think it's safe to be the squeaky wheel and express interest when you have a somewhat legitimate excuse to do so. This is yo career we're talking about, so get after it.
