Anyone else really annoyed that Cleary and Skadden scheduled their receptions at the same time on opposite ends of Manhattan?

No, because the vast majority of us don't have CB's from both

Paul Weiss MP?

I've had silence from both Skadden and Cleary.

Nothing from Paul Hastings dc here. Has anyone heard from cadwalader dc? Nothing from Paul Weiss ny and a cleary dc email ding (the female cleary interviewer).

Just to reiterate, everyone: white and case, a Wednesday firm, is still making calls as of today. It's certainly a stressful wait, but it's not a lost cause. It's still the middle of the week and anything can happen over the next two days.

2 callbacks, 2 dings. 23 interviews. WTF?! Honestly, I'd rather be rejected than waiting in anticipation.

I know Dechert NY and DC have called, but has anyone heard from Dechert London? I realize it may take awhile longer for them to reply...just curious.

Cadwalader NY CB. Grand total of 6 so far out of 28 interviews. 1 or 2 more and I will certainly be satisfied, especially given that I have 3 CB's outside of EIW

25 interviews. Zero callbacks. Zero dings. Is there something I should be doing?

I wouldn't worry too much about the silence, especially if a significant percentage of your screeners were for non-NYC markets. They typically take longer.

Also, firms have a "hold" pile that they tap into when students elect not to attend CB's or do attend but don't accept the subsequent offer. Since there seems to be a trend of either having 12 CB's or none, I'm sure many of those they called back will not accept an offer from the firm(s) you're waiting to hear from.

That's how I'm trying to see things. And it'a true that very few of the firms I'm hoping for have been mentioned on this thread as having made CBs. It's just eerie.

Same. I haven't heard anything from firms that have supposedly sent out a number of dings.

I just got Chadbourne as well. Just got the call 5 minutes ago.

Interviewer initials DS. This is for the NY office.

They mentioned something about an interview evening 8/31 for NYU students. Does anyone know anything about that? Is it a good idea to do that or to schedule an individual interview?
