Random question
If someone is interviewing for a "big law" position after 1L...will employers be able to evaluate your undergraduate records and LSAT score, or strictly 1L grades?? Sorry guys, may sound like a stupid question, but it's important for me to know..

Re: Random question
Strictly 1L grades. I'm not sure how they'd know LSAT (I've never been asked) and undergrad GPA is irrelevant.Susan_Walid wrote:If someone is interviewing for a "big law" position after 1L...will employers be able to evaluate your undergraduate records and LSAT score, or strictly 1L grades?? Once you start law school LSAT scores are irrelevant. Forget they ever happened.Susan_Walid wrote:They don't ask the law school for LSAT scores?........

Re: Random question
after you actually start LS, no one gives a shit what your LSAT score is, and if you keep telling people how you did you're just going to start to sound like a douche. Focus on getting near-perfect grades if you want a shot at biglaw for 1L summer.Susan_Walid wrote:They don't ask the law school for LSAT scores?........

Re: Random question
Your LSAT is supposed to be a predictor of 1L performance. Once you have grades, you no longer need a predictor.Susan_Walid wrote:They don't ask the law school for LSAT scores?........

Re: Random question
Cravath and a few others ask for a UG transcript and I was actually asked what my GPA was in a screening interview.

Re: Random question
This site needs a sign.... once you're in law school, the LSAT = nothing.
