USC/UCI/UCLA around top 40% + LR:

Orrick LA callback
Manatt LA callback
Dewey LA callback
Fulbright LA callback

Fenwick SF callback --> ding
Nixon SF callback --> offer
Sedgwick SF callback --> offer
Weil SV callback --> ding

I also have a mountain of rejection emails/letters from direct mail/OCI screenings + callbacks/offers at smaller SF/LA firms.
took about 2 weeks for the ding.

T10 transfer.
how did you feel the interview went? also, how long did it take you to hear back from Duane Morris through your mass mail? I sent mine about a month ago and still haven't heard anything (also T10 transfer, FWIW).
Thought the interview was great and loved the firm. Timeline was a litte over two weeks for the rejection. Got the cb a few days after sending my materials.

Same. Interviewed 8/16. Glad to hear I'm not the only one waiting, I was beginning to assume my ding letter was just taking a very long time to arrive. Still holding out some cautiously optimistic hope.

whats the typical (if there is one) cb to offer ratio? I just heard a biglaw firm had 6CBs per 1 SA spot. Seems really ridiculous.

Usually it's about 50%. Davis Polk is notorious for having a low offer rate at the CB level. Sullivan & Cromwell gives an offer to basically anyone who shows up at their CB with a pulse. But those two are outliers.

Just got my final decision from OCI. MVP Top 1/4. 19 screeners. 12 Callbacks. Already received an offer from a V15 firm.

Mostly NYC.

Seems to run anywhere from 33%-100% at my school, usually around 50% for most firms.

I forgot to ask at my cb what the usual time frame is for hearing back. Think its ok to call the recruiting office and simply ask or is this rude?

CC hiring committee is meeting for the first time this week -- Wednesday i think. From what I was told, no offers have gone out yet, but they should be coming this week.
