Does anyone have any Lowenstein updates? It's been silence from them since my screener.

I've had silence too, though they might have sent a rejection to my parents' house. Don't really care and didn't really like them all that much (except for the hiring partner, who was awesome). They appear to still be looking too.

No, but if I don't hear from Sills in the next day or so, I'm withdrawing and taking my NYC offer. I really liked them, but I just can't deal with the wait anymore and I really liked the NYC firm too (plus, it pays more).

Lol, so after over 2 months of waiting, I got a rejection email from Porzio. On the day I accepted the offer I decided on for next summer. Yeah, like I'm gonna go cry over this one :) Can barely even remember the place.

Do they hire SAs or just law clerks for the summer?

Umm...Gibbons and McCarter don't have summer programs man - they only hire post law school (and more seriously, post-clerkship)

McCarter changed their system recently; I believe it's been discussed earlier in this thread.

Wasn't it discussed that McCarter still hasn't reinstated their summer program and that they weren't having one this year? I think they did some interviews this year, but that was only to "see what was out there".

McCarter/Gibbson/Wilentz/etc. are all really post-clerkship (or lateral) firms as of now and I wouldn't waste my time on them as compared to NJ firms that have active SA programs.

Can anyone who has a nyc offer/accepted an nyc offer let me know maybe what range the firm is in. or some other description. I'm waiting on NYC and NJ firms and it would help to know which firms in NYC have pending offers out there. I'm slowly dying on these wait-lists I know this is a long-shot to see if any match up, but its better than knowing nothing!

Thanks!

I'm still waiting on riker, although it seems apparent they have filled their class. I just accepted another offer. Do I withdraw from riker? Or is that just silly?

Best to withdraw. If you don't and they do make you an offer, you look stupid. If they never intended to notify you and you withdraw, you just look well-meaning.

How do you do that??? I'm pretty sure Lowenstein looked at mine before my CB, so I'd be interested to confirm it.

When at your home page, if you scroll down a little, on the right side it says how many people have viewed your profile. If you click on that it tells you exactly who has viewed your profile. Your account may not be set up to do this; this feature can be turned on and off.
