Personal Injury

Post by minnbills » Thu Aug 04, 2011 5:48 pm

Personal Injury doens't seem to get much attention on here. I know the payoffs can be huge, but I'm guessing (surprise surprise) very few "make it" to that kind of level.

I was curious if people would chime in with some answers to these questions:

1. Do strong personal injury firms regularly hire fresh grads? That is, are there significant numbers of recent grads who accept positions at these firms? Or do they like to pick up people who gain experience on their own first?

2. What is the pay structure like for the broader field? Are there a few firms in a given city that clean up, or are cases spread out between a much larger number of attorneys?

3. Any other info. Again, I'm really in the dark on this one.
