By jobs I mean "future rejection letters." I prefer a continuous supply of demoralizing email.anonymcoffee wrote:ha ha...what jobs ??

so now that it's winter break, how's everyone's job search going? the fact that I'm even scrolling through the PSRP Symplicity right now is majorly depressing. I failed at lol skool.

Hang in there everyone, just landed a paid mid-size firm for the summer after I completely struck out at FRP and had all but given up. Keep mass mailing, checking symplicity, etc. PSRP has a few paid internships as well. best of luck everyone.

Re: 2011 GW OCI Thread
Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone else who might be in this situations:
If you have a B.S. in something from undergrad and qualify for the patent bar, DO IT, especially at GW. I went from being completely rejected and not having a summer internship to having multiple offers. I didn't do it earlier because I had no clue what patent law was (and assumed it was super boring), and didn't think I'd have enough of a technical background. Turns out I was wrong on both accounts.

Keep your head up. Picked up a paid government position in early December.

Re: 2011 GW OCI Thread
92 rejections, 107 outstanding as of today.
when I get to 100 rejection I get to buy myself a present.
I guess I'm going to have get in shape so whoring out will keep me afloat this summer. anyone else notice there's only 39 stipends 2Ls are eligible for this year? ouch. thanks for yet another kick in the pants GW.

Re: 2011 GW OCI Thread
tonight at dinner someone asked me what I wanted to do with my degree. I literally froze as I realized I have actually given up all hopes and aspirations I actually have, and said that at this point, all I want is to be employed.
