Really? The list of people with CBs all looked like top of the class folks, and that was the word on the street. I don't really know though, I didn't interview with them.

Depends on your definition of top of the class, maybe a pretty loose one for me. I didn't really know any of the people who were at the dinner and I had actually only met one of them before at all, so I can't comment on where anyone was rankwise. I figured the others all either killed grades or were from Texas. As for me... my grades are
good, but top of the class I am not. I don't think the CB had anything to do with anything out of the ordinary that may or may not be on my resume, but I'd be the first to admit that it's absolutely possible. On the other hand, I'm a pretty good interviewer because I've had a lot of practice, and they were the kind of people I do well with in an interview. Who knows.
