Got one callback from from a V20-50, NYC office, tonight. Since I suppose there are so few callbacks at this point, I do not want to be any more specific.

What were the partner's initials with whom you interviewed?
Does this mean there are no more callbacks for CG???

General rule for comparing calls with other posters who have reported callbacks:Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:What time did the call come in?Anonymous User wrote:cg

If your interviewer has made calls and you haven't been called, you are probably rejected or in the hold pile.
If your interviewer hasn't made calls but other interviewers have, you either a) don't know about calls from your interviewer, or b) the interviewer hasn't been to the files yet. Interviewers are busy people and things are coming up all the time they have to attend to, so it may be some time before they can look at their files.

Phew (breathes sigh of relief).
Now I swear to never visit this forum again. Timbs post is the only info I need. The rest is mere fodder.

Re: CLS EIP 2011
If we received a callback today, when is the appropriate time to follow-up with the recruiting department? Am I supposed to call back the next day?

Re: CLS EIP 2011
Timbs's general advice to scheduling callbacks:
1) Call as soon as possible, schedule for as soon as possible. Some firms are ready to make offers days after EIP.
2)If you receive a call while waiting in the waiting area let it go to voicemail and call back later. This will give you time to collect your thoughts. You can email a short thank you note to the interviewer later.
3) Do not EVER schedule callbacks on the sixth floor or in the hallways upstairs or anywhere where other students can hear. This is basically like waving a transcript with all As in front of students taking 1L exams. Go up to the floors with the tourists to call or go outside.
4) Redo your voicemail message. No "what's up BITCHESSSSSSS! Leave a message!" Make it short and professional.
