If you only had an email address and phone number on your resume, are you SOL in terms of finding out if you've been dinged?

For those wondering above about callbacks from these firms:

Willkie (DC)- evening of interview
Jones Day (DC)- just now

Both by phone. Seems like reason to hope DC and NY firm callbacks may still be in the offing.

I think that firms are nowhere close to being finished with making CBs, especially DC. At least 3 of the DC firms I interviewed with specifically said that they were waiting until the end of this week to make calls. However that doesnt make the waiting any less miserable.

Which firms, if you don't mind? Might help ease my anxiety every time I check my mail...

In my mind 6+ should mean you have a job for next summer, 4 means you have a good shot at a job, 2 means get working on mass mails and be hopeful to wow them...

Nothing is certain though and 1 good CB is all you need.

White & Case ding via email. This was a resume drop at the hospitality suite, not an interview.

Groom (very small ERISA firm), Steptoe, Morgan Lewis were supposedly waiting till this week to start CBs. However, this is obviously no guarantee.

Anyone heard from Covington DC or W&C?

edit: I know Covington SF was phoning references. Haven't heard similar from Covington DC, but haven't checked too deep. Any knowledge?

Covington DC is definitely checking references.

For those saying Jones Day CBs have gone out, what day did you screen with them?

Thanks registrar for emailing while we are expecting CBs. Everytime my phone buzzes I get excited. There should be a ban on such correspondence until 2 weeks after EIW.
