Best guess is they're waiting until after OCI at UW and Seattle U. UW wraps up at the end of the month and Seattle U goes on through most of September.
also Wash U
St. Louis is a great feeder market for Seattle.

Dewey NYC and Davis Polk snail rejections

I've done great in DC (4/4) and horrific in NYC (1/12). Anyone else had similar results?

It's generally been quite the opposite. Typically, if you enter an interview and you do not have a 70 year-old nutsack stapled to your forehead, you're gonna get a call back for NYC.

I'm something like 80% with my ultra-selective California firms, but 10% with my top NYC firms. Resume is entirely California, but I was told NYC contacts didn't matter. Guess the fact that I don't want NY just seeps out of me or they actually care a little bit about NYC contacts.
