Based on what I'm hearing from a friend of mine who is a young Associate at Jenner... If you have an offer there, you might as well accept it. He feels like he just hit the lotto with a major firm policy change. Based on what he's telling me, Jenner just became the most desirable firm in Chicago as soon as this news hits ATL (which I would expect it will sometime today).

A friend of mine had a Jenner callback today. I wonder if they'll talk about this big policy change. They are one of my top choices so I'm curious about what is going to make them even more desirable.Anonymous User wrote:Based on what I'm hearing from a friend of mine who is a young Associate at Jenner... So as the season wraps up, here's what's happened...
Top 5% at ND, Law Review
From Mail:
6 Callbacks in my Top Secondary Market (Where I Lived), Including One Offer
2 Callbacks in my Backup Secondary Market
2 Callbacks in NYC (One at Cravath and One at Fried Frank)
1 Callback in Chicago (Reed Smith)
From OCI:
I've only interviewed at four OCI firms (Jones Day, Winston, Jenner, and Sidley), because after I got an offer, I cancelled most interviews. I've gotten a callback offer (which I declined) from Winston, and I have yet to get a rejection from the other three. Interviewing at Bryan Cave today and Kirkland tomorrow.

Congrats on the offer and your results so far. Do you have WE? IP? Anything else you feel might have set you apart?Anonymous User wrote:So as the season wraps up, here's what's happened...

I am trying to brainstorm what this could be. Lower billable requirement?Anonymous User wrote:Based on what I'm hearing from a friend of mine who is a young Associate at Jenner... Re: Midwest T25s OCI discussion/results
Just found out. Basically they are raising their billable requirement from 2000 to 2100 but counting pro bono hours towards the goal is now unlimited. And apparently they are allowing associates to use hours they spent recruiting and some other previously non-billable stuff. I don't think it's earth-shattering enough to make ATL, but it's pretty cool.Anonymous User wrote:I am trying to brainstorm what this could be. I am fairly certain other firms have similar systems. I know one where your billable hours can only be hit by billable hours, but then unlimited pro bono hours can be used to achieve the bonus categories.
