Hey, I know this has been asked earlier, but it's been a little while...anybody, namely WUSTL and UIUC, heard from Heyl Royster?

I think they will be a while. I was told late Sept. or early October in my interview. They aren't really doing callbacks in the traditional sense.Anonymous User wrote:Hey, I know this has been asked earlier, but it's been a little while...anybody, namely WUSTL and UIUC, heard from Heyl Royster?

By not doing callbacks "in the traditional sense," do you simply mean later than normal, or is there more to that? I know of 1 person who's received a callback, but no clue what that might mean for the rest of us.Anonymous User wrote:I think they will be a while. What I was told in my interview (by the hiring partner) is that they are not calling people back for another round. Their "callback" is just an opportunity to meet the attorneys and see the office, but it is not an evaluation process.Anonymous User wrote:By not doing callbacks "in the traditional sense," do you simply mean later than normal, or is there more to that? So in other words, if you get the "callback," you've essentially gotten the offer?Anonymous User wrote: What I was told in my interview (by the hiring partner) is that they are not calling people back for another round. Sent some follow up e-mails to my screeners from whom I haven't heard anything. The pessimist in me is expecting a bunch of "Want an answer right now? Okay, DING" e-mails.
Oh despair

Post-CB ding from Bryan Cave (KC) via snail mail. Sorta surprised, thought the interview went well.

So is the midwest still lagging behind in the whole recruitment process?
My guess is firms are moving on to OCI at midwest TTTs?

The Midwest, minus Chicago, is lagging as a whole.Anonymous User wrote:So is the midwest still lagging behind in the whole recruitment process?

How many 1L slots do they typically have, and what rank does one need from WUSTL to get one?Anonymous User wrote:KC. WUSTL, top 10%, law quarterly. Apparently all of their 1L summer associates accepted for next year already, so they don't have many slots.

Any Lewis Rice (St. Louis) news?
How many CBs do they do? How many offers do they normally give? Timelines?

Didn't Lewis Rice cancel their OCIs this year? I heard all their 1L SAs from this past summer accepted offers for next year.Anonymous User wrote:Any Lewis Rice (St. Louis) news?
