How are people receiving offers from firms? Calls from interviewers? Emails? Snail?

Calls, usually from the attorney who came to OCI.

My experience is calls, always from the decision maker in the interview schedule (e.g., someone either on the hiring committee, the head of the office or the head of the practice group you're interviewing for)

Are you giving your 1L books away and requesting pics for the spank bank to celebrate?

uh no actually that was in response to someone who asked if anyone had gotten a Katten offer and when. Rest assured, when my Wachtell offer comes in, though, I'll be contacting you first for spank bank pics.

This may just be me being naive, but I'm really looking forward to the 2Ls being more relaxed and chill these next two years. I think there are a lot of cool people out there, but the insanity of 1L year probably made it hard for that side of at least some people to come through.

Dear 1Ls:

Yes, we are going through callbacks. No, most of us do not not where we are going; neither do we know what aggregate percentage of the 2L class has gainful employment -- nor will we conjecture. This crap isn't relevant to you until this time next year.

Hugs and kisses,

C/O 2013

This was a ding from the screener, where I thought I hit it off with MG. Also, given the other CBs I've received, I figured I was well within their #s requirements.

Offers from Quinn LA, Cooley SD. Both are exceedingly awesome firms. Good luck everyone.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
