Heard from a friend who got one. Lots of people seem to be pretty open about their callbacks, especially this one obnoxious dude from my section who rattles off his list to anyone who'll listen.

I only have one cb at a v10. I have 0 Hs. I think my interviewer and I really hit it off, so I'm unbelievably grateful for this opportunity. Now I just need to convince the rest of the office to like me, too, lol...Since then, I've got dinged/missed reported cbs all over the place. I hope I manage to pull a few more cbs. Sometimes you just have to remain hopeful! It's still early days, guys. Remember that!

I know people with like 9+ cbs who are extremely humble about it. Then you have people who won't stop talking about it and love the ego boost. But of course, some people have none. It's truly unfortunate and I can't imagine what they're feeling. I'm already feeling anxious, and I at least have one. We should all try to be cognizant of our classmates. Some people really won't tell anyone how poorly they're doing.

Congrats on the V10 callback! How many total interviews did you do? I understand the nervousness though and people who are bidding on markets other than NY are definitely taking a long time to hear back (and having 0 or 1 CB so far can be truly unnerving when you hear of the double digits others are getting). Still, from what I have gathered, the firms here at EIP truly want to recruit Harvard grads and even straight Ps or just 1 H will not dissuade firms from extending callbacks and eventually offers even if it takes some time for them to get back to all candidates.

True in NY, I think, but not in Cali and D.C., as per usual. I think firms are just slower for those markets, as someone else said.

Have not heard from Keker/Munger/Irell. Some LA places have extended CBs/sent dings, others have been silent (so far waiting on Munger/Irell/GDC/Paul Hastings/Bingham, but they all interviewed in the last 2 days; others I have either heard from or am writing off).

Only heard from five of them but I've missed quite a few rounds of cbs. With my grades I knew EIP would be tough, so a V10 cb is practically unheard of even if it is my only one so far. But I'm hopeful. I interviewed with the main hiring partner for that office so I am quite flattered to receive a callback. I went into EIP expecting very little. I would be happy with just two more cbs. I think my personality and interviewing skills are all I have to fall back on, right now.

Anyone interview with Skadden international offices? Like Hong Kong? Do they know when they will get back to us? Do cbs go through the NY office?

This next week will be very important. Letters, calls, and emails will be coming in. Fingers crossed for us all. I would hate for anyone of us to strike out. :)
