I thought UT was T14?Anonymous User wrote:if you mean luck as in getting a screener, then yeahAnonymous User wrote:Anyone still having luck that's not good grades at T14?
Top 1/3 or so at UT. Got 2 screeners from mass mails during the summer just recently for a non-TX secondary market where I have ties. I'm a horrible phone interviewer though, so I doubt anything will come from them.

Bump. Any NY firms?Anonymous User wrote:NJAnonymous User wrote:Any other markets still doing interviews?
which market?Anonymous User wrote:Milbank CB
Yes, there are NY offices still giving CB's.Anonymous User wrote:Bump. Any NY firms?Anonymous User wrote:NJAnonymous User wrote:Any other markets still doing interviews?
Yes. Have Paul Hastings CB scheduled for next week. Had 4 CB's last week. Some firms mentioned that they were coming up on the end of their recruiting cycles, but others said they are willing to do CB's a bit longer. For example, clifford chance asked me to just do a screener this past week, which would mean that the CB wouldn't be until next week at the earlier, and likely later.Anonymous User wrote:Bump. If you don't mind sharing, how did you get the CC screener? Did they respond to mass mail? If so, when did you mail? Thanks.Anonymous User wrote:Yes. Have Paul Hastings CB scheduled for next week. God damn they have given a ton of mass mail CBs.Anonymous User wrote:Cahill CB; applied last week.
Yeah it seems that way. They called me in insanely fast after I sent in a resume. They rejected me just as fast (within about 36 hours). Didn't really like it there, and didn't click at all with the hiring partner. Never had an interview with a person less receptive to what I was saying. But at least they give lots of people a shot.Anonymous User wrote:God damn they have given a ton of mass mail CBs.Anonymous User wrote:Cahill CB; applied last week.

I wonder if they were highly selective initially and now have a low yield?Anonymous User wrote:You see this dude, http://abovethelaw.com/2011/09/students ... e-airport/ ?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah it seems that way. I got insta-rejected too after my mass mail CB, but Gilman was actually super nice to to me (told me explicitly this was a low stress interview after I stumbled at the beginning) and spent the whole interview basicallytelling me how great Cahill was. Maybe he was nice since he was so sure he didn't want me? That was my first biglaw interview ever of any type and I had no real idea what I was doing.
I can only hope.Anonymous User wrote: I wonder if they were highly selective initially and now have a low yield?
Good luck! Do you mind sharing stats?Anonymous User wrote:Cahill CB; applied last week.
