Hamayvin. environmental called a couple of hours ago. Nobody should freak out that there won't be enough spots. Many spots will open once people start to decline offers. Yavin.

Freaking out? Why would anyone want to freak out here? I heard from a reliable source that making a journal hurts your chances at a job. Unless you make law review I can't say that it is advisable.

Seriously guys. I wouldn't trust a word I read on here. While some people have something worthwhile to say, others just try to incite or base their words on unreliable sources. I can't say that what I am saying is reliable either but just a word of warning: take it all with a grain of salt.

Just a bit of advice to people-- please don't freak out! Last year, several of the journals sent out second round offers up to a week after the offers started. In addition, if you don't make a journal or didn't even do the UWC, there are a ton of other worthwhile things you can be involved in. Moot Court, Trial Ad, DRS, or running a student organization in PIRC come to mind. You can also intern during the school year and/or do a clinic.
