NYC - Easiest Geographical Market for c/o 2013?

Postby Anonymous User » Wed Jul 06, 2011 7:55 pm

The consensus seems to be yes, which is why I am bidding solely on NYC. However, I know that in the past, diverse bidding strategies may have worked better (e.g., Chicago-NY a couple years ago).

Is it still a safe bet use all bids on NYC rather than diversify, if I have no connections to any less competitive market (say I have ties to either SF or DC)?

This is because there are many, many, many more 2L SA jobs in NYC than anywhere else. It is unlikely anything else has ever been, or will ever be, a universally easier market or bidding strategy - absent a massive paradigm shift in the United States legal system.

Answer is yes,but you should bid all NY and try to do some targeted mailings elsewhere.
