Personally, I think it makes more sense to focus efforts on large class sizes as these firms typically must make several more offers than spots to get the right incoming class size. Full disclosure, I haven't looked at NALP in years so I have no idea of summer class sizes, just going from my limited experiences as a practicing attorney.

I've also not heard that Akin is doing worse than similar firms... Interesting. I'll have to look into it!

Unfortunately, that's the only actual ranking they give us (they rank in two huge bands), which is why I included the GPA. If I had to guesstimate, I'd guess that I'm in the top 10%, possibly the top 5%; unfortunately, I have no real way to know.

Hard to say, except that silence is golden and you certainly have a shot at most or all of those but mass mailing is always long odds. Nobody can handicap it for you much beyond that I don't think.

none are wasted per se. u have different chances for all, some higher some lower, but all in the running. ones with a "-" means lesser chances between 1-50%. + means more than 50% chance.

fwi: 3.8 got 15-20 screener interviews at gw frp last year.

edit: i have no fucking idea wat a "Chadbourne & Parke" is.

How are people treating a firm's GPA cutoffs for the purposes of bidding. I'm top 30% with law review. Am I just wasting my time (and bids) with firms that say top 25% required?
