Questions on age in Hiring for IP/patent?

Post by Big Bill » Mon Jun 20, 2011 12:51 pm

I am considering an application to law school and have some questions concerning Age and hiring in Ip/patent law. I will be 46 when entering law school and 49 when I graduate. That being said will I experience age discrimination in hiring at big law firms or high paying positions when and if I pass the patent bar. Please keep in mind I have attained a MS in pharmacology and toxicology from a respectable medical school and will also have a Masters in Public health to go along with that. I have checked the requirements for USTPO for practicing patent law before them and I qualify under two scenarios. Any help would be appreciated.
