Applying to other firms while still a SA firm

Postby Anonymous User » Sun Jun 12, 2011 8:06 am

Is it OK to apply to other firms as a way to cover my ass while still at my SA firm? My firm has a very high offer rate (usually 100%), but I think I would feel better to have other interviews as a backup. I know that recruiters talk, so would I be screwing myself at my current firm by applying to others?

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't planning on sending out stuff just now, but there are deadlines in July for 3L OCI. Since this is before offers will be given, I would need to apply before a decision has been made at my current firm.
