Friend just got a CB for a NYC firm that did CBs last week, I guess there are second waves of CBs after all...

From what I heard, they did at least one Fri/Sat and then one Sunday...so still some hope. :?

I went to the Weil dinner and was extended the callback. However, I have not heard anything from Weil.

Same thing here... Would it be bad form to contact the recruiting department or should we wait to be contacted? Anybody take matters into their own hands yet?

If you were extended a callback, it's OK, as long as you do it very nicely. The recruiting folks are probably backed up, but will understand you need to get things figured out so you can plan other stuff.
