Don't apologize. There is no reason for any of us to have animosity toward each other. Tensions are high and it's easy to snap and look for blame but no one is at fault here.

as a transfer, i can personally say that not all of us have "cleaned up." only 2 CBs so far.

Maybe you should have done better, than you'd have nothing to worry about.

People playing the blame game, people telling people they should have done better. We should all want the best for each other and not lash out like this.

That's true. I retract the "done better" comment, just frustrated that someone would lash out at transfers. Best of luck to everyone.

no WE, though substantial volunteer experience, including a year off volunteering. honestly, i think a lot of firms thought i was PI (which I'm not), and steered clear of me for that reason.

I'm a transfer with ZERO CB's who targeted the NY market (and exclusively NYC and pretty much all the firms/interviewers mentioned ITT), with strong ties AND I have significant WE AND I consider myself a pretty sociable person. So yeah   .

And I didn't transfer from a TTT/TTTT. So believe me it's not all roses for transfers. At least I'm absolutely miserable.

It's still early, everyone. I'm a 3L who received several offers last year from EIW, but I didn't receive a single CB until the very end the next week (and yes, I was aiming primarily for the "fast moving" NYC market). I know right now is miserable while you wait, but keep your heads up and try to take your minds off it.

You're still at Michigan, and I would put our students against students at any other school out there. Firms would too.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Guess I can still have hope for Dechert NYC, that is until someone post that they got the CB
Dechert NY CB yesterday afternoon.

Fellow transfer. Focused on NYC. 0 CBs.

Stay positive, you will get something. There's a lot going on in NYC right now.

I welcome all transfers. They worked hard to get here and the ones I've met are cool people.

Let's hope everyone winds up happy and employed, whether it happens through OCI or not.

This. I'm disappointed in my classmates who chose to take their frustrations out on the transfers. They worked their asses off to get here. Don't blame them for the economy/your own shortcomings.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
