How will a drop in GPA from 1st to 2nd semester at T30 look?

Postby Anonymous User » Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:50 pm

i had a 4.0 first semester, and then a 3.4 the next semester. Overall GPA is now 3.6 which is still 10%.
will firms look at that negatively during OCI? i.e. will this lower my chances even though i am top 10%?
I am at a T30.

Depends on the firm but in general it prob matters more what the overall rank is than individual GPAs esp if you're top 10%.

Law firms will treat you as though you have a 3.6 GPA. That's it.
