AOL/Huffington Post Article on Legal Market

Post by DanFastAOlHUffPO » Wed May 25, 2011 2:58 pm

Hello -

My name is Dan Fastenberg, and I am a reporter with AOL/Huffington Post.

I am interested in doing a story on the job search for lawyers fresh out of law school. I want to take a specific look at the factor played by professional experience from before the law school education. Does anyone have an experience in which their pre-law school job helped them in securing a law job after obtaining the JD?

I'd love to talk to you.

Thanks

Dan Fastenberg

Sounds like an interesting subject - I've believed for awhile that there's a strong connection.

My job experience definitely helped in landing my internship... but dropping out of law school during 1L probably helped more, so I'm guessing I'm not the best subject.
