When going to a top law school, can you choose job location?

For example, if one attends Columbia Law, will he have any trouble getting LA BigLaw? And relating to this question, is it more sensible for someone who LA BigLaw aspriations to attend a school such as UCLA, or will Columbia still be the best option?

Thank you all so much!
