2011 SEMJF
Anyone else bidding in the next few weeks? Seems like there are less firms than last year. Regardless, Im not sure where to start in the process. I want to use my bids wisely to maximize my chances, but not sure how to go about it. What are others doing?

Re: 2011 SEMJF
I'd be interested in hearing what others are doing as well. I'm not sure if I should bid on any firms that will be at my school's OCI or only bid on firms that won't. Has anyone attended SEMJF in the past or have advice for bidding techniques?
Also, are the grade cutoffs listed hard rules? If I'm top 1/3 at my school, should I even bother bidding on places that require top 15% or top 10%?

Can anyone who has done SEMJ give their experiences with it?

So glad that is over. Really hoping not to strike out after 8 interviews.

I know it probably varies by firm, but does anyone have an idea of when people might starting getting call-backs from SEMJF screening interviews?

Some told me it would be weeks before they make those decisions. Others indicated it would be more immediate.
