I'm aware of COA judges who feed to SCOTUS, but are there district court judges known for producing a lot of COA clerks?

In addition to Rakoff, there's Pollack (ED Pa), Cote (SDNY), Oberdorfer (DDC), and Walker (ND Cal). Maybe also Gertner (D Mass) and Thompson (MD Ala).

I've seen Lamberth (D.D.C.) frequently pop up as a pre-COA clerkship.

Walker has retired. Like, retired-retired. No senior status for him. Gonna make dollar bills in mediation/arbitration.
