chief judge?

chief judge?

Quick question - if I am applying to work for a judge who is a chief judge, should the salutation be "Dear Chief Judge Smith" or just "Dear Judge Smith"?

Chief judge is appropriate.

Just curios, are you applying in the W.D. Tex.?
