Honestly, I hadn't. Then again, I hadn't really looked into what life is like for those who go work at law firms until recently, either.
I don't equate a 2 week vacation with "taking time off."

Fair, but earlier in this thread people were claiming that there wouldn't be time to take a vacation between the end of LS and beginning legal work, which is pretty close to the opposite of true. "Taking time off" was definitely the wrong way to phrase it on my part though.

:lol: Before I decided to apply to law school, I read law school confidential cover to cover, and the part at the end about taking a sweet vacation after the horrors of LS / the bar has never strayed far from the front of my mind.
