Postby karatenutz » Mon Jan 17, 2011 9:06 pm

Anybody know anything about this program? Specifically, where can I apply? Is it still around? There is barely a mention of the program on the HayBoo website. Let me know guys, thanks!

e-mail their recruiting director about it and they should get back to you in a few days. They're thinking about moving it up a week (first week in August) so that it doesn't conflict with 2L OCI. They're trying to recruit students from higher-ranked, non-Texas schools through it. Offers for the program should go out some time in March.

This program lasts for 1 week. Don't know if it was paid. A URM friend got an offer to apply this week at a T14

I'm also a URM at a T14 and I received an offer to interview/apply for the Fast Track Program in early December.

So, is an invitation to apply a good thing? How competitive is it in regards to grades?

An invitation can't be a bad thing, though I wouldn't look at it as something that guarantees you a position. If I remember correctly, the hiring partner said they are looking for around 30 1Ls to take part in the program. Don't quote me on that, though.

I know this is old, but trying to bump it. Got an email about this, curious if anyone has had any experience with it. What the program is looking for? Did it lead to an offer for 2L... etc
