As an engineering undergrad looking at the two schools you just mentioned for LS, can you share what they're paying you?Anonymous User wrote:Final Update

Just about every V50 pays 3K / week for summer associates. The ones that don't are in that ballpark.helloperson wrote:As an engineering undergrad looking at the two schools you just mentioned for LS, can you share what they're paying you?Anonymous User wrote:Final Update

This is correct. My UG major had nothing to do with my pay, but definitely counted toward landing interviews as a 1L at all.thesealocust wrote:Just about every V50 pays 3K / week for summer associates. Out of curiosity, what sort of GPA/ softs did it take to get BigLaw as a 1L out of a ~T20? (That is, if you don't mind sharing.) Any sort of range/impression would be helpful.

1L, T30, SA position for 1L summer at a firm (400+ attorneys).
GPA: 3.9
straight out of undergrad (TTT), no special work experience.
Softs:
non-URM
first generation college student.
Tangential note:
1L friend from Harvard undergrad, T30 law school, top 33%, 1L SA position. But she had substantial research experience, graduated undergrad 6 years ago.
